The "Irreecha Festival & Oromo Heritage Foundation" is a 501 C3 tax-exempt organization that aims to promote Oromo culture and identity, with a focus on organizing the annual Irreecha festival and preserving Oromo cultural heritage.

The foundation promotes the preservation of Oromo culture and heritage in North America, through research, educational programs, and documentation of Oromo Arts cultural heritage.
The foundation strives to build cultural bridges between Oromo's and other communities to support a better understanding and appreciation of Oromo cultural heritage.
Organizing annually the Irreechaa Festival in Washington DC. The foundation aims to create a platform for Oromos residing in North America to come together, celebrate their traditions, and foster a sense of community.
Objectives
To organize and conduct the Irreecha Festival annually on the first weekend of October in Washington DC.
To provide a space for Oromos in North America to connect, celebrate their cultural heritage, and strengthen community bonds.
To provide a platform for Oromos to collaborate in the promotion and preservation of Oromo heritage.
To promote and preserve Oromo traditions, language, and customs among Oromo diaspora members.
To facilitate cultural exchange and understanding by working closely with local government and communities at large in the celebration of the Irreecha Festival.
To operate as a not-for-profit organization in accordance with U.S. laws governing non-profit entities.
